This Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Roasted Relic boasts a number of unique, vintage-centric features including a nitro lacquer Aged Vintage White finish with Fender’s Relic treatment, a gold anodized aluminum pickguard, a trio of Hand-Wound Fat ‘60s single coil pickups, and a roasted AAA birdseye maple neck with a ‘60-style Oval C profile carve.

Weighing 7lbs 6oz, this “Roasted Relic” Strat features a roasted alder body, roasted AAA birdseye maple neck and a AAA rosewood fingerboard with 9.5" radius and 6105 Narrow Tall fretwire. The Aged Vintage White nitro lacquer finish exhibits “shattered glass” checking and various marks of simulated wear per Fender’s Relic treatment.

Fender’s Hand-Wound Custom Shop Fat '60s Strat pickups deliver sweet 1960s single-coil Stratocaster sound with plenty of crisp articulation. The overwound design gives these pickups added low-end punch for an extra shot of modern attitude. These pickups are outfitted with beveled alnico II magnets, which offer warm lows, rich midrange and mellow highs, capturing the sound of aged pickups from the early '60s for luscious vintage-inspired tones. The middle pickup is also reverse-wound reverse-polarity (RWRP) for superior hum cancellation.
