1999 Gibson Les Paul Standard Honey Burst, 100% Original w/ Case

Up for sale, a 1999 Gibson Les Paul Standard in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This early modern Standard hails from what is increasingly known as the "good wood era," loaded with a pair of 490R/498T humbuckers and boasting a gloss Honeyburst nitro lacquer finish.

Weighing 9lbs 10oz, traditional tonewoods include a carved two-piece maple top, mahogany body, and a one-piece mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. With a lively, powerful acoustic voice, this Les Paul’s natural tone is translated through the stock 490R and 498T humbuckers. These pickups have a wide tonal palette, with the Alnico II magnets in the neck pickup offering more chime and warmth, while the Alnico V bridge pickup has a cut and snarl that cuts through with classic Gibson roar. This Les Paul Standard has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with fresh 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Honeyburst nitro lacquer finish has shallow buckle scuffing on the bass-side of the back and some small dings and finish scratches on the body, largely on the lower bout of the back. The nitro gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean with just a few shallow nicks, virtually undetectable to the palm.
