Up for sale, a 1987 Gibson Les Paul Junior in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This Les Paul largely adheres to ‘50s spec, with a couple additional player friendly features including mini Grover Rotomatic tuners and an ABR-1 bridge/stopbar pairing, ensuring optimal intonation and tuning stability.

The mahogany body and neck offer plenty of midrange growl and sweet sustain, qualities faithfully captured by the clear bobbin P-90. Plugged in, the pickup is articulate and dynamic, tailored for glassy treble cut and thick overdriven bark. Gibson’s gloss Tobacco Sunburst nitro lacquer finish from the late ‘80s has a distinctive appearance closer to Argentine Grey, with a small area of shallow buckle rash at the bass-side waist, one small chip on the top edge at the cutaway, and minor dings and finish scratches consistent with use. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is free of palm wear, with some shallow marks on the profile length that don’t distract the palm.

The original Gibson USA brown tolex hardshell case is included; the handle has been replaced (original included), and the case smells slightly of smoke.
