1983 Gibson Les Paul Custom Zakk Wylde Rebel Relic w/ EMG, Case
Weighing 9lbs 7oz, tonewoods are identical to Wyldeās original āRebelā (an example from 1989), including a solid mahogany body with a carved maple cap, three-piece mahogany neck, and bound ebony fingerboard. The active EMG pickup pair includes an 85 humbucker at the neck and an 81 at the bridge (somewhat unorthodox, inverted from most configurations): utilizing powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, the EMG 81 was engineered so that lead work will slice through even the densest mix, and the Alnico V magnet EMG 85 delivers optimal note detail with incredible high end cut and smooth, fluid sustain. This Zakk Wylde āRebelā Les Paul Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mikeās Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:

The gloss flag graphic on the top has been aged congruent with the wear and sanding on Wyldeās own instrument, and the back, sides, and neck have been refinished in a smooth satin finish. Naturally, any genuine playwear is impossible to discern from the faux aging. The satin refinish on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
A brown tolex Gibson USA hardshell case is included, and one of the latches is non-functional.
Note regarding this guitar: This instrument is presented as an accurate reproduction of a historically recognizable artist model. We respect Zakk Wyldeās rights and freedoms regarding artistic expression, but do not endorse the ideology, symbolism or implied associations reflected in the guitarās design.
