1964 Gibson Melody Maker Double Cut Vintage Guitar Sunburst, 100% Original w/ Case

Up for sale, a 1964 Gibson Melody Maker in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. Featherweight at 5lbs 14oz, tonewoods include a Honduran mahogany body and neck capped with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. The bridge position single coil pickup combines a Fender-esque snap and twang with the fuller midrange and low end punch that mahogany provides, with a raw, bell-like sound and tonal profile all its own. This Melody Maker has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Sunburst nitro lacquer finish is quite vibrant, exhibiting prominent horizontal checking, with some minor dings on the back and body perimeter. A modern black tolex hardshell case is included.
