1964 Gibson ES-345 Vintage Semi-Hollow Guitar Cherry, Collector-Grade w/ Case
Naturally expansive and resonant acoustically via the semi-hollow maple construction, the ample acoustic properties of the instrument are translated faithfully via the humbucker pair. The direct descendents of the venerable PAF, these Pat. No. pickups offer the same range of impressive tonalities, comfortably versatile with a variety of genres and playing styles. The bridge pickup has plenty of percussive cut, treble sparkle, and midrange sweetness, while the neck humbucker is warm and woody, with harmonically-rich bloom. Engaging the six-position rotary Varitone switch provides access to five distinct tones (1st position bypasses the Varitone) for varying degrees of thinned out honk and midrange focused cut. This ES-345 TDC weighs 8lbs 11oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mikeās Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
