2022 Fender Traditional II ‘60s Telecaster Thinline FSR Natural w/ Binding, Japan MIJ

2022 Fender Traditional II ‘60s Telecaster Thinline FSR Natural w/ Binding, Japan MIJ

Up for sale, a 2022 Fender Traditional II ‘60s Telecaster Thinline FSR Collection in like-new condition and in perfect working order. A limited FSR (Factory Special Run) model produced exclusively for a single Japanese dealer, Ishibashi Music, this rare “Made in Japan” Telecaster Thinline features a gloss Natural finish framed by black binding and accented by a red tortoise pickguard.

The semi-hollow ash body yields a naturally resonant, open-sounding acoustic response with great midrange sweetness and immediacy. There’s plenty of Tele twang and snap on tap at each position on the three-way pickup selector switch, with a round, barking cut at the bridge and a smooth, bell-like bloom at the neck. This Telecaster Thinline FSR is lightweight at 7lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Maple
-Shape: U, measuring .865” 1st fret, .925” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Maple, 9 1/2“ radius
-Frets: Narrow/tall, pristine
-Scale Length: 25 1/2”
-Nut: 1 ⅝”, bone
-Tuners: “F”-stamped
-Serialization: “Made in Japan,” JD22-prefix

Body Specs:

-Wood: Ash
-Pickups: Vintage-Style single coil x2
-Controls: Volume, Tone, Three-way pickup selector
-Harness: CTS 250k pots
-Hardware: “Pat. Pend” bridge with steel barrel saddles, flat-top knurled knobs
-Plastics: Four-ply red tortoise pickguard, “top hat” switch tip

Sourced directly from Tokyo, there’s barely a mark on the gloss finish. The gloss on the neck profile is immaculate.

A padded gigbag is included.
