2024 Fender Japan Art Canvas Esquire Katsushika Hokusai Tama River, Mint w/ Case, Tags

Up for sale, a 2024 Fender Made in Japan Hokusai Art Canvas Esquire “Tama” in mint condition, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. Produced in very limited quantities to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Fender Japan flagship store in Tokyo, the lottery-only Hokusai Art Canvas Esquire series feature select artwork from Katsushika Hokusai’s masterwork “Fugaji Sanjurokkei” (36 Views of Mt. Fuji) series. This particular model sports a print of the iconic “Tama River in Musashi Province (Bushū Tamagawa).”

With an ash body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, this Esquire is featherweight at 6lbs 15oz. At the heart of this model is an American Vintage '58 Esquire/Tele bridge pickup, coupled to a three-way Tone switch and offering plenty of chewy twang and sparkling single coil cut. This Esquire benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
