Produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and select international territories, this “Made in Japan” iteration of the Yngwie Strat features a scalloped maple fretboard, brass nut, medium jumbo fretwire, and a trio of Seymour Duncan YJM Fury Strat single coil pickups.

Tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, yielding a balanced natural acoustic quality. The Seymour Duncan YJM Fury Strat pickups were engineered for neo-classical shred, offering hum-free performance with great articulation and a dynamic response that works particularly well in high gain scenarios. The low end is tight and full, with smooth, glassy trebles that cut through the mix. This Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Stratocaster weighs 8lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
