2014 Fender Telecaster Custom ‘62 Vintage Reissue TL62B Transparent Blue, Japan MIJ

Up for sale, a 2014 Fender Telecaster Custom ‘62 vintage reissue model TL62B in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Made in Japan” Telecaster Custom is uncommon outside of its country of origin, boasting a gloss Trans Blue finish framed on both sides by cream binding.

Lightweight at 7lbs 3oz, tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard. The single coil pickups offer plenty of snap and snarl, with chewy twang at the bridge and bell-like fullness at the neck, lively and distinct in each of the three pickup positions. This Telecaster Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

-Shape: Medium C, measuring .865” 1st fret, .920” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood slab, vintage-spec 7 ¼” radius
-Frets: Slender, no wear
-Scale Length: 25 ½”
-Nut: 1.650” (42mm), bone
-Tuners: Kluson-style, Gotoh
-Serialization: “Made in Japan,” JD14-prefix

Body Specs:

-Pickups: TL-Vintage single coil x2

The gloss Trans Blue finish exhibits very subtle yellowing of the clear coat, with just a couple tiny marks on the body. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile shows no wear.
