Up for sale, a 2014 Fender Stratocaster ST/HO/3S semi-hollowbody model in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, upgraded with a trio of DiMarzio Area 61 hum-cancelling single coils. A rare and decidedly unique “Made in Japan” Stratocaster, this model features a double bound semi-hollow mahogany body and a very slender, fast-feeling maple neck capped by a bound (and very dark) rosewood fingerboard with block inlay.

Weighing 7lbs 8oz, this instrument offers plenty of fundamental warmth and body beyond the typical acoustic properties of a Stratocaster. The DiMarzio Area 61 pickups are wound to be steely, yet woody-sounding, hum-cancelling and designed to minimize magnet pull. The result is a dynamic and lively set of early '60s-style Fender tonalities coupled to a five-way pickup selector. This Stratocaster ST/HO/3S benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
