2004 Fender American Vintage '72 Telecaster Custom FSR Black Near-Mint w/ Case & Tag, Wide Range

Up for sale, a 2004 Fender American Vintage '72 Telecaster Custom FSR in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtag. A particularly rare, early and limited American Vintage series iteration of the ā€˜72 Tele Custom platform, this is an FSR (Factory Special Run) example.

Tonewoods include an ash body and one-piece maple neck, and this Tele Custom weighs 8lbs 3oz with a lively, balanced acoustic response that has a nice kick in the midrange and excellent natural note attack. Plugged in, this Telecaster has a broad tonal spectrum, featuring a Wide Range humbucker in the neck position and a traditional Tele single coil at the bridge. As such, there are thick, meaty humbucker tones and chiming, twangy single coil snap on tap, and engaging both pickups yields a ā€œbest of both worldsā€ tone with great warmth and articulation. This Telecaster Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation (string gauge and setup can be adjusted to player preference at no additional charge).
