Up for sale, a 1993 Epiphone Casino in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced at the Terada factory in Japan, this is an early Epiphone reissue which preceded the āElitistā line, featuring a pair of ādogearā P-90 pickups and a gloss Vintage Sunburst finish.
Acoustically, the fully hollow maple body has a smooth, bright tone with great articulation, faithfully captured by the original P-90 pickups. The pickups are wound to vintage spec with plenty of midrange bark, and a glassy, percussive quality. Offering a refinement far beyond most other modern Casino reissues, these pickups are sensitive to picking dynamics with an overarching sweetness and sparkling cut, equally suited to detailed cleans and rich overdrive.
