1992 Fender Custom Edition '57 Stratocaster ST57G-65 Charcoal Red w/ Gold Hardware, Japan MIJ Fujigen

Up for sale, a 1992 Fender Custom Edition Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62G-65 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare, early Fender Japan Stratocaster produced at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of "Made in Japan" output, this Strat features a transparent Charcoal Red (CCR) gloss finish over the grain of the American basswood body, accented by gold hardware throughout.

This Strat has a balanced, lively natural acoustic quality which is translated faithfully through the trio of alnico magnet single coils. The bridge position has a sparkling, authoritative cut, the middle position single coil has a percussive clarity, and the neck position is throaty and warm while still having a peppy snap in the top end. Positions 2 and 4 on the five-way pickup selector switch offer a thinned-out squawk. Weighing 7lbs 7oz, this Stratocaster ST62G-65 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
