1991 Hamer USA Centaura Vintage HSS Superstrat Granite w/ DiMarzio, Seymour Duncan & Case
Up for sale, a 1991 Hamer Centaura in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This USA-made Hamer is built to shred, featuring an HSS pickup complement, Floyd Rose-licensed Schaller tremolo, and gloss Black & White Granite finish.
Tonewoods included a swamp ash body, maple neck, and pau ferro fretboard. The bridge pickup has been upgraded with a DiMarzio DP150 Double Whammy: designed for usage with locking tremolos, this high-output humbucker is full and aggressive with tight lows, crisp highs, and a notably full, vocal midrange bump. The original Seymour Duncan SSL-1 single coils in the neck and middle positions deliver classic Strat-style sparkle and spank. Additionally, the two-way “Thick Switch” mini-toggle engages an additional tone cap, adding a touch more heft to the signal for particularly ripping gain. This Centaura weighs 7lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
