1991 Fender Stratocaster '72 Vintage Reissue ST72-500 Candy Apple Red, Japan MIJ Fujigen

Up for sale, a 1991 Fender Stratocaster ‘72 vintage reissue model ST72-500 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Made in Japan” Stratocaster was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production and is uncommon outside its country of origin, featuring vintage accurate touches including a block logo on the headstock, three-bolt neck plate, block saddles, and a gloss custom color Candy Apple Red finish.

The trio of Alnico magnet single coil pickups deliver distinct tonalities at each position on the five-way pickup selector switch: the neck pickup has a bell-like chime and warmth, with thinned-out squawk in positions 2 and 4, and a sparkling spank in the bridge position. This ‘72 Stratocaster ST72-500 weighs 8lbs 4oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
