This uncommon âMade in Japanâ Strat was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, essentially a progenitor of the Yngwie Malmsteen signature model, sharing a scalloped fretboard and '72-centric features including a large headstock, bullet truss rod, three-bolt F neck plate, and block bridge saddles.
