Up for sale, a 1987 Yamaha “Super Axe” SA-1800 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. An excellent example of premium Japanese craftsmanship put to the task of expanding and improving upon American designs, the upper-tiered SA-1800 features a carved spruce top, maple back and sides, alder centerblock, one-piece mahogany neck, and bound 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
Acoustically, this instrument has a lively, dynamic quality balanced by an overarching warmth, providing an ideal platform for the Spinex SAI humbucker pair.
