1983 Fender '62 Stratocaster JV ST62-85 Olympic White w/ USA Fullerton Pickups, Japan MIJ Fujigen
This alder-bodied Strat has a balanced, lively natural acoustic quality which translates faithfully through the trio of single coils. These pickups feature staggered alnico magnets, black fiber bobbins and push-back, cloth-covered leads, delivering quintessential Strat sparkle and spank: the bridge pickup is punchy and immediate, with classic Strat quack at the âin-betweenâ positions on the three-way pickup selector switch, and the neck pickup yields a broad, smooth sound with great clarity and sweetness. This JV-era Stratocaster ST62-85 weighs 7lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mikeâs Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
