Up for sale, a 1980s PGM Moon ST-248 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. A rare boutique Japanese S-style guitar crafted by PGM under the Moon branding, this instrument stands toe-to-toe with the finest modern builds, featuring a trio of Seymour Duncan SSL-1 single coil pickups and a gloss Lake Placid Blue finish.

This ST-248 weighs 7lbs 13oz with a lively, detailed acoustic response that provides an ideal platform for the trio of factory-installed Seymour Duncan SSL-1 single coil pickups. These pickups are designed to recreate the sound of a ā€˜50s Strat, featuring staggered Alnico V pole pieces, black bobbin flatwork and cloth-covered leads. The bridge pickup has ample sparkle and bounce, the neck pickup has a throaty fullness, and there’s a scooped spank at the ā€œin-betweenā€ positions on the five-way pickup selector switch. This Moon ST-248 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
