Up for sale, a 2022 Mike Lull Custom Guitars JT4 Custom in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Based in Bellevue, WA, Mike Lull’s instruments are prized for their no-corners-cut construction techniques and premium componentry. Lull’s perennially popular JT4 pairs “J Bass style with T Bass soul,” loaded with a pair of his renowned T-Pickups, Hipshot Ultralite tuning machines (augmented with a Xtender D-Tuner), and featuring a gloss custom color Ice Green Metallic finish.

Tonewoods include a mahogany body, maple neck, and slab ebony fretboard, and this JT4 is lightweight at 8lbs 4oz, delivering plenty of fundamental warmth and growl with a rich midrange character. The T-Pickups were born from a reverse-engineered 1964 T Bass owned by Mike Lull, analyzed to determine just what gave the tone an ideal blend of fullness and potent immediacy. These humbuckers offer focused growl, tons of low end aggression and grind, and smooth treble punch. This JT4 Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
