2015 Gibson Memphis ES-330L Humbucker Fully Hollow Thinline Guitar Ebony w/ MHS PAF Humbuckers, CoA & Case

Up for sale, a 2015 Gibson Memphis ES-330L Humbucker in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and CoA. A short-lived, discontinued model crafted at Gibson’s lauded and now shuttered Memphis, TN factory, the ES-330L features thinline fully hollow construction paired with a Long Neck joint (19 frets clear of the body, “L” in the model designation) for easy access to the upper registers of the fretboard. Whether you call it a “Long Neck” ES-330 or a fully hollow ES-335, it’s a decidedly unique amalgamation of ES-330 and ES-335 spec for a best-of-both-worlds instrument.

Loaded with a pair of MHS (Memphis Historic Spec) PAF-style humbuckers and a Bigsby B7 vibrato, this particular ES-330L is 100% original save for a replacement Schaller GTM bridge with nylon saddles (original bridge included). Lightweight at 6lbs 10oz, this ES-330L has a prodigious, well-defined natural acoustic response via the maple hollowbody construction. The MHS handwound (scatterwound) humbuckers deliver tight low end, a complex, tailored midrange, and sweet highs, consistent with Gibson's golden age PAF pickups. A lower wind PAF designed specifically for Gibson’s hollow and semi-hollow instruments, the MHS pickups balance both exquisite clarity and rich growl, with a slightly hotter Alnico II bridge position and a sweet and smooth-sounding Alnico III neck position humbucker that has great bloom and complex harmonic content. This Gibson ES-330L has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
