Produced at Gibsonās lauded and since shuttered Memphis, TN factory, this Custom Shop ES-335 features a gloss Ebony nitro lacquer finish and a pair of 57 Classic humbuckers, 100% original save for a replacement bone nut.
The semi-hollow maple/poplar/maple body construction delivers treble detail and a certain tonal breadth and sweetness, qualities translated faithfully via the '57 Classic PAF humbuckers. These pickups offer a smooth bass register, tailored midrange, and articulate trebles, consistent with Gibson's golden era "Patent Applied For" pickups.
