Crafted during the golden age of ā€œMade in Japanā€ production, this rare Jazz Bass was offered for just one year as part of the Custom Edition line, featuring a gloss custom color Charcoal Red finish accented by gold hardware.

Tonewoods include an American basswood body and a maple neck capped by a thick slab rosewood fretboard, and this bass weighs 9lbs 3oz. The bridge pickup delivers plenty of cut and burp, with a smooth treble grind and more warmth and thickness via the neck pickup. This Custom Edition Jazz Bass JB62G-70 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
