Up for sale, a 1990s Ibanez PH99 Classic Phase Analog Dual Wave Phaser in like-new condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original box, power supply and paperwork. Produced from 1997-99, this uncommon Ibanez phaser was part of the â99â Series, designed to hearken back to classic analog phaser units and able to produce just about any phaser or vibrato sound under the sun with intuitive, user-friendly controls.
The PH99 can be stationary and resonant, slow and mellow, or fast and swirly, pushing into spaced-out underwater weirdness at higher settings, with Speed, Depth, Feedback, and Effect Level (Wet/Dry Mix) knobs. Turning the Feedback control to the right engages standard positive phase feedback, but turning it left results in reverse (negative) feedback, perfect for some truly unique sounds. Additionally, the Sine/Square Wave Form switch toggles between typical smooth phasing and more abrupt, seasickness-inducing square sounds, and the Intense footswitch (with status LED) brings the 720° phase shift up to a full 1080° of hard phasing.
This PH99 doesnât have a scratch on the shiny silver enclosure, with pristine graphics and original chickenhead knobs.
