This upper-tiered “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside its country of origin, featuring factory-installed USA-made pickups and vintage-spec touches including reverse-gear tuners and spiral bridge saddles.

Weighing 9lbs 7oz, tonewoods include an alder body and a maple neck capped by a slab rosewood fretboard, yielding a balanced acoustic tone with sweet sustain. The Fender single coil pickups offer articulate, mid-forward growl with a clear treble response and fundamental punch.
