Up for sale, a 1982 Fender Precision Bass ‘57 vintage reissue model PB57-70 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. A first-year Fender Japan model made at Fujigen, this Precision Bass was part of the JV (Japanese Vintage) series which paralleled early Fender vintage reissue production at Fender's Fullerton, CA factory, with vintage-correct features include reverse gear tuning machines and threaded bridge saddles.
Tonewoods include an ash body and a one-piece maple neck, and this P Bass weighs 10lbs 1oz. The black bobbin split-coil pickup features vintage-spec raised A string pole pieces and delivers plenty of pillowy thump, rich growl and round treble punch.
