1980 Aria Pro II EG-1400 Eagle Vintage Neck Through Guitar, Near-Mint w/ DiMarzio & Case, Japan
1980 Aria Pro II EG-1400 Eagle Vintage Neck Through Guitar, Near-Mint w/ DiMarzio & Case, Japan
Weighing 8lbs 13oz, the neck-through construction results in terrific natural sustain, punch, and detail. The pair of USA-made DiMarzio humbuckers include a Dual Sound at the neck and Super Distortion at the bridge. The Super Distortion (and by extension the Dual Sound) is big and bold, with a midrange bump that translates to huge chords and a liquid, singing quality for lead work, taking gain notably well. There is a broad array of tones achievable via the active electronics, including additional Boost, Phase switching, a āDual Soundā (coil tap) switch, and six-position rotary Varitone control. This EG-1400 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mikeās Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
