Up for sale, a 1980 Aria Pro II Custom LP-600 in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and manual. Produced at the Matsumoku factory in Japan, this LP-600 has a distinctive look designed to capitalize on Ace Frehley's now iconic triple pickup Cherry Sunburst Custom, outfitted with a trio of vintage DiMarzio Super Distortion humbuckers (metering at ~13k ohms). Traditional tonewoods include a mahogany body, carved maple top and a three-piece maple neck capped with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Engineered for high gain with boosted mids, punchy lows, and fat highs, these pickups can easily push a tube amp into breakup. Chords are crunchy and chunky, and melodic lines have a searing, white-hot quality that sits great in a mix. Weighing 9lbs 1oz, this LP-600 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, accurate intonation.
