Up for sale, a 1979 Greco EG900 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan, this ālawsuit eraā Greco predates the highly lauded Super Real series of instruments by only a few months, boasting premium features including a pair of USA-made DiMarzio PAF humbuckers with double cream bobbins.
Taking a page from Gibson's early 1970s playbook, tonewoods include a two-piece maple top over a sandwich mahogany body, and a three-piece mahogany neck capped with a dark rosewood fingerboard. At 9lbs 9oz, this Greco dishes out ample natural sustain and liveliness, qualities that are translated faithfully through the Dimarzio PAF humbuckers. These pickups are rich and articulate, with growl and power in the bridge position, balanced by a present, smooth neck pickup.
