1970s Orange Voice of the World Vintage 6-channel PA Mixer Preamp Head

1970s Orange Voice of the World Vintage 6-channel PA Mixer Preamp Head

Up for sale, a 1970s Orange ā€œVoice of the Worldā€ 6-channel PA mixer in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This early Orange PA just contains the passive preamp (the power supply is not present/included), and this head can be coupled to one of Orange’s 200 watt ā€œslaveā€ amps.

This head features six independent channels, each with its own EQ and Echo control. Designed for usage with high or low impedance signals (with a toggle to switch between the two on each channel), this PA also features independent Echo Send and Return ports, and the unique Midlift circuit uses miniature transformers to boost the mids on top of the existing full sonic spectrum (as opposed to cutting the bass and trebles to achieve a synthetic mid-boost).

The faceplate is well-kept, and all of the original knobs are present save for one of the large Volume knobs, which is a modern replacement (Channel 2). The original orange tolex is present with some minor scuffs and staining, and the original serialized badge is present on the back.
