1978 Greco GO1400 Speed Way Vintage Neck Through Guitar Dark Stain, Near-Mint w/ Case, Japan Fujigen
The seven-ply neck is composed of maple and walnut, and the body wings are crafted from a maple core sandwiched between two pieces of sen ash. This guitar is exceptionally resonant and lively, with a complex acoustic response representative of the various tonewoods; thereās ample articulation and glassy snap, with the midrange heft and authoritative note attack of ash, translated through the original PU-3D soapbar humbuckers. These pickups are rich and full, with a particularly vocal, sonorous quality, spongy low mids, and a dynamic feel. The active electronics enable a huge amount of tonal sculpting precision, with a three-band EQ and independent Phase controls. This GO1400 Speed Way weighs 10lbs 9oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
