1976 Fender Telecaster Butterscotch Vintage Guitar 100% Original w/ Case

1976 Fender Telecaster Butterscotch Vintage Guitar 100% Original w/ Case

Up for sale, a 1976 Fender Telecaster in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, This quintessential ā€˜70s Telecaster features the classic pairing of an ash body and a one-piece maple neck with a U-shaped profile carve, loaded with a pair of black and gray bobbin single coil pickups.

Weighing 9lbs 3oz, this Telecaster has a lively and dynamically responsive natural acoustic tone, balancing well on a strap with plenty of midrange heft and treble articulation. The pickups are sweet and sparkling: the bridge pickup features staggered alnico poles, delivering plenty of chewy twang and authoritative snap, while the neck pickup has a silky rhythmic cut and bell-like sparkle. This Telecaster benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Medium U, measuring .850ā€ 1st fret, .930ā€ 12th fret
-Fretboard: Maple, 7 1/4ā€ radius
-Frets: Slender, leveled/crowned, light wear on frets 1-6
-Scale Length: 25 1/2ā€
-Nut: 1 5/8"
-Tuners: "F"-stamped (Schaller-made)
-Serialization: Bold 76-prefix (peghead)

Body Specs:

The gloss Butterscotch finish highlights the notably uniform vertical grain in the ash body with tight checking, some pick scuffing (largely constrained to the guard), a bit of subtle buckle rash on the back at the treble-side waist, and some minor nicks and scuffs from use. The neck profile exhibits wear through the gloss along the fretboard edges, inviting to the palm with some shallow marks worn smooth through play.
