Up for sale, a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. A quintessential early ‘70s Custom, this Les Paul features a “sandwich” mahogany body with a carved three-piece maple top, three-piece mahogany neck, and a gloss Cherry Sunburst nitro lacquer finish accented by gold-plated hardware.
Lightweight for a ‘70s Les Paul at only 9lbs 5oz and well-balanced on a strap, the tonewoods deliver a classic acoustic foundation, with the warmth and fullness of the mahogany balanced by the articulate top end and snappy attack provided by both the maple cap and the ebony fretboard.
