Designed in collaboration with the frequent Slash collaborator/Alter Bridge frontman, this Paul Reed Smith Myles Kennedy signature is an ideal hybrid of vintage-inspired aesthetics and modern features, boasting locking tuners, a plate-style steel bridge with brass barrel saddles, Narrowfield MK humbuckers, and a swamp ash body with a nitro lacquer Hunters Green finish.

The PRS Narrowfield MK pickups were carefully voiced to capture the warmth and fullness of humbuckers with the spank and snap of single coils, delivering “thick single-coil sounds without the hum.” Further tonal versatility comes via the five-way pickup selector switch (coil split configurations at positions 2 and 4) and the push/pull Preset Tone Roll Off at the Tone knob, which darkens the bridge pickup and adds further richness to the signal. This Myles Kennedy weighs 7lbs 14oz, with the factory setup further dialed in here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
