2023 Ear Fuzz Effects Baptista Silicon Fuzz Guitar Effects Pedal BC109 w/ Box, Paperwork

Up for sale, a 2023 Ear Fuzz Effects Baptista in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the box and paperwork. This finely crafted, hand-wired fuzz pedal was designed by Ear Fuzz founder Jason Zachman to recreate one of the circuits created by ClĂĄudio CĂ©sar Dias Baptista for his brother SĂ©rgio Dias Baptista, the lead guitarist of pioneering Brazilian psychedelic rock/TropicĂĄlia band Os Mutantes. The original circuit, the 8th pedal Baptista built for the band, was coined Regulus VIII; it’s a high-gain silicon fuzz, just as aggressive and splatty as one could want, with a Gate control for stop-and-start sputtery sounds. The point-to-point circuit features a pair of BC109C silicon transistors, and the Baptista does not utilize an independent fuzz control, relying instead on input signal to clean up, ensuring full-on, ripping tones as soon as it’s engaged.

There is no wear of note on the enclosure, and the silkscreen graphics are pristine. The inside of the baseplate is dated 6/23 and signed by Zachman.

The box and paperwork are included.
