Up for sale, a 2022 Martin J-40, near-mint and complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. The J-40 pairs big and bold Jumbo tone with upscale abalone cosmetic appointments including the rosette, peghead inlay and Reduced Hexagon fingerboard inlays.

Tonewoods include a Sitka spruce top with forward-shifted, scalloped X-bracing, East Indian rosewood back/sides, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard and bridge. This J-40 offers tons of projection and power with even a gentle strum, with terrific breadth to the low end, shimmering trebles, and a crisp, articulate midrange quality that ensures the instrument remains responsive and well-defined even at the upper limits of its volume.
