This premium Martin was produced in very limited quantities, with Lennon-inspired headstock/fingerboard inlays and peace sign centerline on the back.

Tonewoods include a Sitka spruce Vintage Tone System (VTS) top with rear-shifted X-bracing, East Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard. This D-28 is notably smooth and round-sounding, with a relaxed, resonant quality attributable to the VTS treatment on the top, which effectively simulates natural aging for a worn-in, vintage-style response. The trebles are crisp and sparkling, and the wound strings have a bold, defined quality.
