2002 Jackson Stars Soloist SL-J2 Neck Through Guitar Black w/ Seymour Duncan, Floyd Rose & Case

Up for sale, a 2002 Jackson Stars Soloist model SL-J2 in perfect working order, complete with a molded hardshell case. A Japanese domestic market offering virtually unseen outside of its country of origin, the Jackson Stars instruments are the direct descendants of the Grover Jackson line, expertly crafted at the Chu Shin factory. This particular Soloist boasts a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers, a Schaller Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo, and sleek all-Black finish.

The SL-J2 features maple neck through construction with alder body wings and a striped ebony fingerboard, offering great sustain and treble snap. The Seymour Duncan TB-5 Custom 5 Trembucker in the bridge position provides an unmistakable upper midrange attack, with a punchy, articulate low end, and harmonically rich highs that really sing. The SH-1 PAF neck pickup was designed in the spirit of the original PAF, with sweet sustain, tight lows, and just enough midrange to deliver full-sounding chords while retaining clarity. This Soloist SL-J2 weighs 7lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
