This iconic MXR pedal has appeared on the pedalboards of a number of legendary guitarists including Randy Rhoads, Jerry Garcia, and Bob Mould.
A true industry workhorse, the Distortion + can deliver everything from a mild overdrive to more fuzzed out saturation, always at home pushing the front end of a tube amp. Set the Distortion control low and crank the Output knob to push the front end of an amp for bluesy grit, or max out the Distortion knob for classic early ā80s hard rock saturation. The circuit is untouched, and the original CTS pots date to the 19th week of '81.
The enclosure exhibits just a scant few tiny nicks on the mustard yellow finish. The original knobs are intact (along with the single rubber "boot"), and the graphics are pristine.
